EMPIRE FARMS SUMMER CAMP

Empire Farms summer camp is all about SAFETY, HORSEMANSHIP and FUN!

Our summer day camp sessions offer a place for children to come and have fun with friends and horses while enjoying a variety of activities in a safe and professional environment. Our camp features qualified staff and experienced safe horses. The beginner level camp means NO riding experience is required! While our advanced camp is open to kids with riding experience, that are comfortable grooming and tacking independently, as well as basic flat work.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Learn basic horsemanship, including safety, grooming, bathing, basic care

  • Learning how to properly brush and tack a horse

  • Be creative making crafts and playing games

  • Enjoy a fully supervised guided horse back ride every day

CAMP DATES:

  • Beginner Session #1 - #1 - JUNE 16- 20 from 9:00AM - 1:00PM

  • Beginner Session #2 – JULY 21-25 from 9:00AM – 1:00PM

  • Beginner Session #3 – AUGUST 11-15 from 9:00AM – 1:00PM

  • Advanced Session #4 - JUNE 23 - 27 from 9:00AM - 1:00PM

HOW TO SIGN UP:

Each Session is $490 per rider. A non-refundable 50% deposit must be paid in order to hold your spot. A parent or legal guardian of the camper must fill out the registration form below and an acceptance of risk/liability waiver. Campers will not be permitted to participate in any horse-related activity without these forms. Please enclose a nonrefundable 50% deposit with the application. Deposits are required to hold your place. The remaining balance is due 10 days prior to the start of camp. We accept cash, check, venmo and credit cards.

WHAT TO WEAR:

  • Comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions

  • Shoes or boots with heels (NO sandals or open toes shoes), a shirt with sleeves, full length jeans or legging-type pants

  • A safety rated riding helmet should be worn at all times when around the horses. If your child doesn't have a riding helmet, one will be provided.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Pack a lunch or snack

  • A Water bottle or drink
